Upon receiving the feedback for MT, I was not that surprised. Deep down i knew i need a lot of improvement in myself, honestly i feel that I am not able to show my 100% in online classes. I am aware my my caliber.
The feedback can help me improve the outcome of the 2nd term. Firstly i will make the journey log as soon as the project will be over.
I will try to expand my vocabulary more in next term.I would work on my reflections and writing skills. I need to make deeper connections and carefully assess the pros and cons of a situation.
I would like to research and work with more materials and techniques.
FEEDBACK GIVEN TO ME
In M2M, you have shown good ideation however paper pulp still needs to be done and jali needs to be readdressed. The empty spaces in quilling need to be filled too. You need to reciprocate on feedback proactively and seriously and develop a habit not to ignore them. In F2F, you have produced limited explorations. Final form could have been better conceptualised and executed with finely cut elements. Overall, you need to interact more during the class hours. In "Just Dough It!" project, you demonstrate good engagement with the material aspects - there is fairly good understanding of the properties & characteristics of the material/s and/or techniques as evident through the creative application. Your posts for Learner's Log of this module have been made after a long gap - this dilutes the purpose and learning benefit (The post for Map & Flyer are still not done). some (few) attempts of reflective thinking as the commentary on the experience is often descriptive. You have made some connections between observations (past & present); however this needs to be done frequently along with the analysis reflecting more depth. This will help you to develop a deeper understanding of the topic and to draw out implications for future application. You must also expand your vocabulary to include design terminology to communicate your thoughts. Moving forward, you must complete the Log on time because analysing a recent experience is more effective. You have shown some engagement with the projects / assignments / activities of the module, but they have been mostly done without the guidance of a tutor. You have struggled to keep pace with the activities & submissions. As a result there is limited growth seen over the last 4 months. There is a need for better time management and proactive approach to learning. You need to interact more, discuss work and take feedback regularly, and push yourself out of your comfort zone.
