ACTIVITY 1: PERCEPTION
Perception mainly means the ability by which we get aware of something using our senses, perception can be different for different people in the same situation, it is the way you look around and see your surroundings.
WARM UP ACTIVITY : We were divided into groups and we were given a shape that we had to relate to different associations and geometry.
Group members:
1. Garvit Sharma
2. Dania Usmani
3. Harshita Maheshwari
4. Gunika talwar
5. Gaanya Singh

Main activity
After the warmup, we had to do the same activity but with a different alphabet, and the same group was assigned, everyone had to come up with at least 4 ideas.

REFLECTION
The activity was pretty fun, it gave me a basic understanding of how things around us are made of geometry and letters, which shows us that how everything is organically made and how some basic ideas can turn into very useful products.
Group Achievements:
No lack of communication, we efficiently communicated to come up with quick ideas
Quick ideation of every individual
Group struggles:
We lost track of time and were not able to present our warmup activity.
It was tough to sketch as no one in our group was good at sketching.
Group functioning:
We were quite compatible with each other even though we worked together for the first time and everyone was very supportive of each other's ideas.
What we could have done differently?
We were just restricted to our desk and we did not explore around the house for different objects so that could have been done differently.
Learning MANTRA: "Respect your time"
ACTIVITY 2
The relative size or extent of something is known as scale while context means meaning or purpose of something. If we change the scale of something we tend to change its context.
For example : A traffic cone when small is used as traffic cone but as soon as we changed the scale/size of it , its context/purpose changed into a public bench

WARM UP ACTIVITY
We all were divided into groups and were assigned a particular stationery object which was available to us. My group and I got "Paper Cutter" as our object. We were told that individually we had to draw it from different angles it may be zoomed in or zoomed out . We were assigned an object and we had to draw it at least 10 times within 20 minutes. Those sketches had to be rapid.

This activity helped us study the object properly and to understand perspective and different eye levels while drawing.
MAIN ACTIVITY
In this activity we were told to change the scale and the context of the object that was give to us and give our object a new meaning altogether. It was a super innovative and creative idea and required a lot of brainstorming because changing the scale of an object is an easy task but then changing its context is the real deal
GROUP ACHIEVEMENTS:
As a group we could very easily brainstorm and come up with ideas.
We were super efficient and effective
GROUP STRUGGLES:
We could discuss ideas but we couldn't connect to each other very well
We could not communicate with each other very well
REFLECTION:
1. I feel that teamwork always brings out the best in people because more the ideas better the output. You also learn how to cope with constructive criticism.
2. I learnt how we can make a drawing self-explanatory just by adding environment.
3. Discussing your ideas with your tutors is always beneficial because with their experience and your ideas you can come up with something different.
LEARNING MANTRA:
COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY
Activity 3 - Stake holder mapping
Introduction
Today we were introduced to stakeholders i.e. a person who has some kind of interest or concern in something. Today's activity started with a group discussion in which we were shown a picture and were asked to tell the stakeholders of that given picture. The stakeholders were further divided into categories as
Main stakeholders
Other stakeholders
National stakeholders
International stakeholders
Warm-up task
Now we were supposed to work in our assigned groups and perform a stakeholder mapping to get a better understanding of it.
GROUP MEMBERS:
GUNIKA TALWAR
KHUSHI ARORA
ARPIT RAWAT
ANISH SEKRI

Black circle - Main stakeholders
Purple circle - other stakeholders
Blue circle - National stakeholders
Green circle - International stakeholders
Main Task
In today’s main task we were required to see through the eyes of anyone in the given picture and draw their view and add a comment/thought in it.
I choose my view of the lady sitting in the back of the Auto-rickshaw.

Reflection -
Today's activity depicted that there's so much more to a picture other than what we see in it.
Achievements -
Work done timely
Worked as a team not as individual members ebers even in the main task and helped each other out.
Struggles - There was no struggles as such, everyone was helping eachother.
LEARNING MANTRA:
"Team work leads to more potential and possiblities"
Activity 4 - Expressive Typography
As suggested by the title, today’s activity was all about how different typographies express different meanings into the minds of the reader. To explain this to us we were given an example of the word 'Balance' and shown different typographies which exprresed and created a visual message of balance.
GROUP MEMBERS
KHUSHI ARORA
GUNIKA TALWAR
ANISH SEKRI
HIMANSHI KAPOOR
In this warm up task we dipped our hands into the creative world of expressive typography which we all absolutely loved. Every group was assigned 2 words on which they were to come up with total of 4 ideas for one word.
Words assigned to us -
Deadline
Stable

Main Task
For the main activity we were again given an introduction about how a typography narrates a story or a given hidden meaning. We were shown some examples and then we were to create our own Expressive typography using. a quote or a line based on a theme.

REFLECTION:
This activity was one of the most fun activities so far because it was very different from what we usually do in our think lab sessions. It taught me the art of creative typography which was new to me.
ACTIVITY 5: CHALLENGING ASSUMPTIONS

Activity - 6
NEW POSSIBILITIES
Group members
GUNIKA TALWAR
BULBUL
MUKSKAN BHOJWANI
PAKHI ROY
Introduction
For activity 6 there was no warm up activity. We started with a small brief in which we were given different type of situations like
if humans lays eggs instead of babies
if humans only had one eye
if humans only had one hand
if humans had wings
For the main activity we were divided into groups and we were given one situations and we were asked to sketch new possibilities with these situations. We were also asked to make a 3d model showing one of the possibilities.
Main activity
Each sections were divided into groups, my group members were
We were asked to sketch new possibilities and 3d figure for "if humans had only one eye".
We came up with ideas and then divided the work.

MY WORK

Reflection
This activity was by far the most fun and a little weird activity, i remember when we all were planning and imagining people with one eye it was hilarious and then everybody came up with their ides , discussed in the group and decided what they were going to do. This activity helped me with visualising and understanding if things went a little different everything around us will get affected. Also it helped me imagining new possibilities and weird situations .
Achievement
came up with new ideas on time
good coordination
time management
Failure
weren't able to colour some of the sketches
Group functioning
Everyone was Supportive
The ideas were discussed before working on them
Good coordination was there
Everyone was extremely helpful
Learning mantra
Learning becomes so easy when you are actually enjoying what you are doing .
Activity- 7
THINKING TOOLS 1
we were introduced to the activity , different tools for creative thinking were introduced . Slice and Dice was introduced. We learnt about different attributes of objects and how to slice and dice them.
Descriptive attributes
Functional attributes
Emotional attributes
Process attributes
Social attributes
GROUP WORK

INDIVIDUAL WORK

Reflection
This activity was really fun, both the tools were very new to me and i found them very helpful. I can realise these tools will help me to come up with new explorations for other projects in the future.
Achievements
Did my exploration on time
Time management
Failure
was not able to understand idea box nicely
had to do the idea box twice
Group functioning
The activity only had one task with group , only one of group member was present in the beginning so it was bit hard to do the group activity
Learning mantra
Its important to take time in understanding the task , than wasting the time doing it in a wrong way
ACTIVITY 8
THINKING TOOLS 2

FINAL REFLECTION
The journey with thinkNlab has been the most interesting and fun , I still remember the first day I and my group was not able to present our work on time. Since then i submitted all the tasks before the time.
Think lab has helped me to think out of the box and I strongly believe that think lab bought out a leader in me. All the activities were interesting but one I loved the most was NEW POSSIBILITIES , I enjoyed the most seeing my peers work on if humans lays eggs instead of babies ,if humans only had one hand or if humans had wings, the activity really made us think what life would have looked like.Think lab has also helped in how to come up with ideas in a smaller amount of time, how to look at things from a different perspective, all this has built some amount of confidence that I have developed some thinking abilities and problem-solving abilities.
The regular reflections and learning mantra helped me consolidate my learning throughout the day because self reflection is the key to self awareness , it allows us to look neutrally at our thoughts Overall it was a great experience and I think it played a vital role in my growth and encouraged me to take risks and further challenge myself.
